University of Toronto Admission Requirement 2022

Admission into the University of Toronto is usually done through the Ontario University Application Centre (OUAC). The U of T admission requirement for the 2022 admission depends on the status of students/applicants. Current Ontario High School students, Non-Ontario students, International students, all have different requirements.

To be considered for admission into the University of Toronto, you must first meet the university requirement.

How to Apply for Admission into the University of Toronto (U of T)

To apply for admission in the U of T, choose your application status below and apply;

Current Ontario High School Students (OUAC 101 Application)

Current Ontario High school students are those students who are current, full time Ontario high school students, expecting to receive Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with six Grade 12 U/M courses by the end of the current year.

Apply through Ontario Secondary (High) School Application (Undergrad 101)

 

International Applicants (University of Toronto International Application)

International Students/applicants applying to the University of Toronto are those students currently residing outside of Canada, and are not previously studying in Canada, and also not applying to any other Ontario University

Apply International Students

Full-Time Degree Applicants who are NOT current Ontario High School Students (OUAC 105 Application)

These students apply to the University of Toronto when they are NOT currently attending an Ontario high school day program (in Ontario or abroad), AND are NOT current or former U of T students.

  • online ‘self-reported grades’ form,
  • proof of English language proficiency,
  • standardized test results,
  • other supplemental forms

Reasons you may not be admitted to the University of Toronto

The most common reasons for not being admitted to the University of Toronto:

  • Probably your overall average, or grades in prerequisite subjects, are not competitive
  • Maybe you did not present a senior level/Grade 12 English course for admission consideration
  • Maybe you did not present a senior level/Grade 12 course in all prerequisite subjects required for program(s) you applied to
  • Maybe you have repeated an unacceptable number of courses for the program(s) you have selected
  • Maybe you have an insufficient number of available courses at the time of consideration
  • Maybe you applied to a program that does not accept applicants with post-secondary studies
  • Maybe English language requirement (if applicable) was not met by the deadline
  • Maybe supplementary information (if required) was not submitted, or was not competitive
