University of Calgary Admission Requirements for Accounting

This is to inform future students that Calgary University has released the requirements for accounting.

The Admission Requirements for Accounting into the University of Calgary  is as follows

  • English Language Arts 30-1
  • Mathematics 30-1 or 30-2
  • 2 approved courses
  • An approved course or option
  • Additional admission details
  • Only one of Art, Dance, Drama or Music can be used in calculating the admission average
  • Equivalent International Baccalaureate (IB),
  • Advanced Placement (AP) courses or SAT2 subject tests are accepted.

Application dates for Fall 2022 intake

October 1, 2021, to March 1, 2022

Alberta curriculum

The estimated competitive admission average must be the Mid 80s

Additional admission details

Only one of Art, Dance, Drama or Music can be used in calculating the admission average

Equivalent International Baccalaureate (IB), Advanced Placement (AP) courses, or SAT2 subject tests are accepted.

October 1, 2020, to March 1, 2021

  • Any 5-credit second language or language and culture course at the 30-level [1,2]
  • Any approved grade 12 IB diploma or AP academic subject

  • CTS Computer Science Advanced (5-credits)
  • Fine Arts (Art 30, Art 31,
  • Choral Music 30,
  • General Music 30,
  • Instrumental Music 30, Drama 30,
  • Dance 35)
  • Mathematics 30-1, 30-2, and 31 [1,3]
  • Physical Education 30
  • Physics 30
  • Science 30
