Nipissing University Admission Requirements

The required documents are as follows:
- Two letters of recommendation
- Proof of English language Proficiency
- One unofficial transcript of each previous undergraduate and graduate transcript
- One to two-page statement of academic intent
- Photocopy of your degree parchment(s)
- Any essential program-specific documentation should be forwarded as well.
English Language Proficiency (ELP) Requirements
All applicants whose first language is not English are to submit the results of an acceptable English Language Proficiency test, with the minimum scores indicated below.
- TOEFL iBT: A minimum general score of 93, and a minimum grade score of 20 in reading and listening, and a minimum score of 22 in speaking and writing, or
- IELTS: A general grade score with no below score of 5 and a minimum of 6.5 in reading, listening, and speaking and a minimum score of 6.0 in writing, or
- Pearson Test (PTE Academic), with a minimum general grade score of 63 with a minimum score of 60 in each subsection.
The above-required grade scores must be forwarded before the applicant can be considered for admission.
Minimum Admission Requirements
- A four years undergraduate degree or equivalent with a minimum of B standing.
- Two letters of recommendation
- Statement of value approximately with 500 words
- Supplemental information such as GMAT or English Language requirements.
