How to apply|Acadia University Graduate Programs

  • Applicants are to fill out the online form here
  • There is a non-refundable $50.00 (CDN) processing fee required to apply.
  • Please note that there are other supporting credentials also necessary for an application.

Minimum Admission Requirements

  • All applicants must have a minimum B- average (70%) in the course taken in the major field.
  • An honors degree, or
  • A four-year bachelor’s degree, from a standard university.

After Applying On-Line for Admissions

  • View the list of necessary credentials required to complete their admission file;
  • Upload all supporting certification (EXCEPT for transcripts); and
  • Observe the official letter when a decision has been made on the application.

Transcript Requirements

One original, official transcript from each post-secondary institution attended it is required for all applicants.

This includes university /colleges where you:

  • Took only or more courses (but a degree/certificate was not conferred);
  • Where an exchange program took place also,
  • Where you are currently enrolled (degree/certificate currently in progress).

English Language Requirements|Acadia University Graduate Programs

  • IELTS (Academic ONLY!) – 6.5 overall with no subtest score lower than 6.0
  • TOEFL – IBT score of 93 with no subtest score below 20
  • TOEFL – IBT Home Edition grade score of 93 with no subtest score less than 20
  • CAEL – general score of 70 with no subtest score lesser than 60
  • PTE Academic – 61 with no subtest score below 60.
